This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My high school is a low income high needs school. I’m learning Spanish but I’m old and I’m slow to pick it up. I cannot learn the 75 other languages that our students speak. Nearpods allows them to engage in the same lesson as their peers in their native language. This builds students who can confidently enter the workforce and higher education. Please help me reach the students I teach beyond the limitations of Google Translate. This learning tool allows these students to get the information and build computer skills.
