My Students

The COVID-19 shut down has really changed the way students are learning. Even though things have change, our middle school students are learning more than ever. It just looks a little different.

Technology is driving instruction around the globe.

Students in our district are using a hybrid model. In order to give students the flexibility and the tools needed to conduct their remote lessons, we've provided our students with Chromebooks or iPads. These tools are essential for learning to continue at home during the at home learning days.

Our students and families have embraced all the changes our district is making to the traditional 5 days a week schedule, so we want to help our students do the best they can to learn as much as they can during this unprecedented time.

My Project

Learning from home is an obstacle for students, and making sure the information is engaging and meaningful is a challenge for teachers. All educators and families are working hard to provide students with appropriate engaging curriculum and activities during these unprecedented times.

A Nearpod Gold upgrade will not only engage students in meaningful and impactful lessons while learning both in school and remotely from home, it will provide teachers an important tool to keep instruction moving forward!

Nearpod is an interactive platform that will increase student participation by offering collaborative activities and formative assessments through online whiteboards, VR/AR activities, and game-based quizzes. Students can watch and interact with virtual lessons, get feedback from teachers, and collaborate with other students. It truly is an amazing tool!
