This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

In my classroom, we do many types of projects. We do hands-on lab activities, create our own maps and geography activities, online virtual field trips, and reading. These activities require lots of supplies, but are necessary to best help them succeed and learn.

We want to bring outside experiences to our students that they might not otherwise have.

Bringing the Cincinnati Zoo is always educational and extremely engaging for our students. Please consider donating so we can have these visitors!

My Project

This is our annual Earth Night event! For the last three years, we have been educating students, family members and community members about conservation education. We give away goodies, feed our guests, and provide information from local professional organizations, including the Cincinnati Zoo, Hamilton County Recycling, Hamilton County Waste, and Hamilton County Parks.

In bringing in outside visitors, we are able to educate children and adults about our every changing world, and how our actions have consequences for our environment.

It is crucial to provide free educational resources so we can all better our planet. Environmental education is key to being successful!
