My Students

My students are amazing! They love STEM projects and hands-on learning activities. My students are highly engaged and excited about their learning. It makes my heart full to see them love STEM as much as I do.

Students learn best when they are creating and when they are stakeholders in their education.

My students deserve to have a teacher who is fully equipped to guide their learning through personalized learning and hands-on STEM activities. I want to be able to give them all that they deserve in this regard. Professional development is the best way for me to do this.

My Project

Your generous donation will allow me to complete a rigorous teaching evaluation process, the National Boards. This grant will provide me with funding for the certification process, in which I must pass 4 components: (1) Computer-based assessment component: Component 1: Content Knowledge (3) Portfolio components: Component 2: Differentiation in Instruction Component 3: Teaching Practice and Learning Environment Component 4: Effective and Reflective Practitioner . Artifacts consist of a recorded classroom teaching video, student work, and more. The fulfillment of this project will help me grow professionally via this certification process.

My students and I will both benefit from my National Boards Certification.

Attaining my National Board Certification has been a career goal of mine for quite some time. My goal is to complete the process by the end of next school year. This process will help me reflect upon my lessons and to become the best teacher for my students. This grant will provide funding for two of the four components. I am so excited to become Nationally Board Certified and be the best educator I can be for my students!
