This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to school hoping for new exciting learning opportunities. The children arrive at our Title I school to have breakfast because their often single-families in Section 8 project housing can’t afford basic necessities of life for them.

Help me give my students Gyotaku Fish Printing and Leaf sets to make their art-science nature connections through art creations.

The children also need a strong science connection to nature for enriching experiences, since traveling to educational nature park experiences or even to science museums is beyond their home-life budgets.

I hope to give my students an exciting creative visual art room where they can fully develop a wonder for natural things. With your help, my students will be able to explore life forms through STEAM printmaking projects to fully engage them in learning!
