Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials I'm requesting will provide students with opportunities to learn about nature and gain an appreciation for the world around them.

Students will experience nature by growing plants in the classroom and observing live creatures such as ants, butterflies, and birds.

My goal is for students to value the animal and plant life around them through hands-on experiences. Students will observe the life cycle of a butterfly and ants in an ant colony. Students will also get to observe the birds in our neighborhood.
