This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The rug is the most important part of any kindergarten classroom. On the rug, students learn, play, collaborate, and discover. We do whole group, small group, and independent practice on our rug every single day. We build our community on the rug. We couldn't function without one!

Studies show that rugs and furniture with natural colors help calm students and create an ideal environment for little learners.

With this nature inspired rug, I can help create a peaceful space for our scholars to spend their day on. We can truly focus on our learning with little distraction and less stimulation.
