Students use their writing journal for activities such as field trip reflections, creating fiction stories, and writing narrative stories. Students have also had art projects that reflect their unique personalities. They began the school year by creating self-portraits and making a flag that shows their ancestry. Students have also used the supplies to celebrate Halloween and make decorations for the classroom. \r\n\r\nOur district, amongst many others, is facing severe budget cuts, and without your support, vital resources like these would never have made it to my classroom and impacted so many students. We would have had to use recycled materials or not have had all the school materials we needed.
