it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
HI,
I am Dr. D, I teach bio in Harlem.
There are many many instances where I need a document camera to demonstrate lab techniques, model scientific procedures from graphs to annotating, and many other uses. These tools are considered standard equipment in many classrooms, and I can see why.
My ability to deliver effective lessons has been seriously impacted by not having access to this technology. It would certainly be used regularly and to great effect.
My students come largely from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and nevertheless show up ready to work hard in my Biology class. They deserve the consideration of your philanthropic generosity if anyone does! They really are lovely kids.
