This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Writing is critical for student success in schools. One of the primary ways that we assess students’ knowledge is by having them write about what they know. Writing is also an important tool for facilitating learning and reading. When we write more often, our reading comprehension improves.

As a 4th grade English Language Arts teacher, it is crucial for my students to have composition notebooks so they can write about the things they are learning in the classroom.

When we write about a text, it forces us to actively think about what we read, improving our understanding and comprehension. Please help me provide these resources.
