My Students

I teach at a Title I public elementary school in Orlando, Florida. I have 18 eager kindergarten learners in my class. Our staff, parents, and teachers share a strong sense of community where we all are working together to meet the needs of each student. My students are very curious, energetic, creative, and enthusiastic about learning, and I work to provide them with the very best opportunity to grow and learn. They are grateful for everything and they love school!

I would like to get them seat sacks for their individual desks.

They are socially distanced in my face to face/hybrid classroom and need a place for their own materials. Everything they use needs to stay at their desk which is hard to manage in kindergarten. The seat sacks will help them stay organized as we move from subject to subject.

My Project

This project is to help my 18 kindergarteners manage their own supplies. We used to share supplies at a table but this year they need to be able to have and manage their own supplies.

We need seat sacks to stay organized in our socially distanced kindergarten.

The seat sacks will hold folders for math, reading, writing, science, and social studies as well as scissors, glue, pencils, crayons, and paper.

Please help my students to succeed by helping them stay organized at their desks. They stay at their desk all day so I want to help them keep it organized.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
