This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am reaching out to you with a crucial funding request to acquire a new laptop for myself. My current laptop, which has been instrumental in facilitating classroom instruction, is getting old. It still does work, but some times it takes me 10-15 minutes to connect to the school provided promethian board. I

The specific item we are requesting funding for is a new laptop equipped with the latest hardware and software.

The goals for this project are clear: to empower myself with the tools and resources I need to excel in my role as educators and mentors. By investing in a new laptop, we can enhance instructional quality, streamline administrative tasks, and promote ongoing professional development, ultimately benefiting our students and school community as a whole.

The students will benefit by having access to technology that we currently don't have. Programs like calculus in motion, for example, allow students to visualize complex calculus concepts.

What makes our students special is their resilience, creativity, and eagerness to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds and possess a wide range of talents, interests, and aspirations. Despite the challenges they may face, our students demonstrate a remarkable enthusiasm for education and a thirst for knowledge that inspires us each day. They deserve the best possible learning environment, and your support for this project will help us provide it to them.
