This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The 4th grade students will be participating in a Research Wax Museum. They will choose a famous person from the past or present to share with their peers and parents. They will research, write, dress, and present about this person's life. They will use text features to display on the tri-fold boards to allow their audience to see glimpses into their person's life.

It will allow the students to create timelines, portraits, and artifacts that defined this famous person.

Plus, it will allow my students to identify how each text feature helps the viewer understand about this person. It would really have a big impact on our project.
