My kinder "gardeners" are so eager to learn and play and we need some supplies to help us in our class garden!
My school is located in a high needs area and my students are not able to supply our classroom with many supplies and materials we need.
Despite the challenges that my students face day in and day out, they are the most eager and enthusiastic bunch of people I have ever met. My students love school and love to learn and deserve all of the things that any child deserves, no matter where he or she goes to school!
My Project
They always say, "Everything you learn in life, you learn in Kindergarten." I truly believe that the most important life skills are taught in kindergarten. I am asking for resources that will be used each and every day for our class center time. This is a time of the day that they children pick different play and learning centers to learn to work together and share. I have requested materials for our kitchen and home center such as play food and a play phone. I have requested materials for our block center such as wooden transportation vehicles and people. I have also requested some materials for our math and ABC center such as number pegs and ABC stampers.
You will be making a huge difference in the lives of many children by donating to this project.
My students absolutely love school and cry that they don't want to leave at the end of the day. Their favorite part of the day is center time when they are able to play and learn in different centers with their friends. The supplies requested will allow my students to do so with nicer and cleaner supplies.
