My Students

My students are faced every day with challenges at school and outside of school that could prevent them from getting a quality education, however, I am a teacher that doesn't let those challenges become excuses. They are some of the brightest and most eager students I have ever had the pleasure of teaching.

I expect the best from my students and they rise to my expectations every time.

My students are curious and even though their reading skills are below level they love learning and they love to read. I am so excited to provide them with any and every opportunity to grow in confidence and boost their character and self-esteem.

My Project

The use of small groups in Math is a daily activity. Using the workshop model in math, some students come to the rug, while others are working independently on individualized tasks.

I want to make these individual learning goals fun and engaging, VersaTiles will do just that!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, self-monitor and check their work, which help them to become more confident in themselves and the work they produce.
