Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The graphic novel section in our library is the most popular. Our students love reading academia books. We just need some more selections because most of the students have read all of the selections we currently have for them.

My goal of this project is to make sure students continue to read and enjoy reading.

By giving them ownership and make suggestions to what books to get in our library is the key to making them life long readers. The students get so excited when their selections come in. They brag to everyone that we purchased books that they order.
