Growing up in a rural, southeast Kansas town is a blessing in many ways. Unfortunately, it can also be limiting. In order for our students to compete and excel in the current and future workforce, it is our job as teachers to make sure they are prepared.
My Project
Our sports teams rely on fundraisers to allow our teams to have the needed uniforms and supplies. With the help of DonorsChoose.org, we hope to be able to fund our basketball team with much-needed uniforms.
New uniforms will provide our young, hardworking athletes with pride that will enhance their level of play.
Having nice uniforms will give my team the confidence they need to be their best. I coach a middle school basketball team in a rural Kansas school. With limited funds for our athletic teams, we need help to fund our basketball team uniforms.
I am requesting 40 custom Puma basketball jerseys and 40 matching Puma shorts. This will be 20 uniforms for boys and 20 uniforms for girls. They have a soft, lightweight construction with mesh panels to deliver extra breathability to keep my athletes cool.
