This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year music teacher, I am excited to embark on a journey of creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for my students in grades Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. The materials requested for this project will enhance a musical experience for our Ospreys, but also create a sense of belonging and creativity.

Many music classrooms lack the necessary resources to create a stimulating learning environment, hindering students' engagement and enjoyment of music education which is why cultivating a classroom that students look forward to attending is necessary.

The materials for this project go beyond informative posters and decorative bulletin boards but include sound absorbing materials that will benefit our harmonious classroom.
