Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am seeking to expand the kinds of kinesthetic, movement-based activities I do with my students. Hands-on activities such as bucket drumming and Boomwhackers playing are incredibly confidence-boosting and just plain fun for every grade level!
I have a lot of English language learners in my classroom and the more I do movement and kinesthetic activities with them, the more included, safe, and capable they feel, which is a big deal to me.
With my room being on the smaller side, extra storage and organizational materials are necessary to create a good flow, efficiency, and space in a classroom. As a 2nd year teacher, I haven't collected much but am hoping to have more organizational tools in order to better serve my students and maximize their time!
