My Students

My students are enthusiastic and motivated to learn how to play an instrument! Their school is in a large urban district with a high poverty rate where all the students receive a free lunch.

Despite many obstacles, their enthusiasm to learn never dwindles, and they are very excited to learn how to play an instrument.

I've received music stands from DonorsChoose.org before, and they have made a huge difference in helping the students just work on their music learning!

My Project

Music stands will be used by the band and orchestra at our school.

The students at this school love playing instruments.

The school currently has 7 music stands, of which 5 are barely operational. This will make it easy to be equitable with the musicians as the current stands are in various stages of functionality. We would like a orchestra and band with 24 students from Grades 4 and 5, and would like to have music stands that are portable so we can easily move the music stands for concerts and for storage. These music stands can be collapsed and folded for storage and transportation. These music are able to be stored on carts and shelves.
