This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I work with students in Pre-K through 8th grade. Oftentimes, during performances I have to transport instruments, props, and audiovisual equipment from the 2nd-floor music room to 1st-floor gymnasium for performances. It is time-consuming and not safe to have students carrying expensive music equipment down a flight of stairs. Accidents sometimes happen and equipment gets broken, dropped, and sometimes misplaced or lost. The utility carts will allow me to organize and pack needed equipment/supplies and transport them on the elevator. The utility carts will also allow me to set up ahead of time instead of having student helpers set up during practice time.
