Music Matters: Help Us All Perform

My students need 4 new bass bows to allow them to perform with our school orchestra.

My Students

Help us to be heard; our orchestra students attempt to perform while using aging equipment.

The students that will benefit from the new equipment are in junior high school, sixth through eighth grade.

They are excited and eager to learn the basics of music through their participation in our orchestra program. Our school is approaching thirty years old and much of the equipment is nearing the end of its useful life.

My Project

The new bass bows will allow my bass students to be fully engaged in orchestra class and performances. Our current bows are old and constantly in need of repair, which prevents the students from keeping up with the rest of the class. With these new bows, my bass students will be able to perform on par with the violin, viola, and cello students they accompany at they concerts.

The contribution of these new bows will not only positively affect the performance of the bass players, but also the entire orchestra.

New and working equipment will energize the students and help them to continue their involvement in the music program. What better gift then the gift of music?
