Music - Investing In Our Future

My students need a Piano amplifier for performances and practices with our Jazz Band, Concert Band, and Marching Band.

I teach Instrumental Music to grades 9-12 in a working class neighborhood with an extremely diverse population of students. Music is a part of the student body and school spirit.

We have multiple instruments (Bass, Guitar and Keyboard) that require an amp, but we don't have one and money is short. Our program is looking to expand and add a jazz ensemble along with other musical performing groups.

We need an amplifier because it is an important part of our ability to move forward with a Jazz Ensemble and additional performances. The addition of an amplifier to our program will enable us to include students who play Bass, Guitar, Keyboards and/or even Sing. With these tools in place we will finally be able to solidify our Jazz Band and insure that all of our Bass, Guitar and Keyboard players can be heard at our performances.
