Help me give my students a class set of ukuleles to be able to make meaningful music in class.

My Project

At my school, students are able to play string and band instruments in 4th and 5th grade, but prior to then, they are only able to play percussion instruments in class. Ukuleles are a prized instrument that most students beg for the opportunity to use. The students want to learn how to play instruments so badly, but we do not have enough supplies for them at a young age.

Ukuleles are a great instrument to teach students because they are accessible, they don't require as much finger strength or dexterity as a guitar, and their parents are more likely to be able to afford a ukulele for their child at home versus a guitar or other band or string instruments.

These instruments should not be for just a lucky few, all of my students deserve the opportunity to learn music with an instrument in their hand prior to their last two years of elementary school.
