My Project

What better way to celebrate music and stem than to bring them together and build our very own ukuleles? With these build kits, my students can work together in teams to create a working 22-inch guitar or Ukelele. These kits will give my students hands-on experience with instrument creation. It will be a unique opportunity to understand the engineering process that goes into designing and building a Ukelele. This project will also review science concepts related to the physics of sound and be capped off with a little mini-concert where students get to test their creations by making music together.
