Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a proud preschool teacher who works in Santa Clara Unified School District.

We are a Family Child Development Center that engages families from all types of cultures and languages, which makes my classroom a rich and exciting place to learn.

We provide a subsidized program for children aged three to five years old.

Most of my students are English Learners. They are curious, imaginative, and engaging.

They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances. They inspire me every day!

My Project

My students will use these musical instruments during free play.

Our music center needs instruments that are from around the world, to make it more inclusive and exciting.

My students love music. We are planning to have a "band music", they are very interested in the idea.

This idea started after we made our own musical instruments and children started to play with them.

One child says, "What about a band?". Fantastic idea!.

We still use our own musical instruments but it would be great to count with different ones.
