My Project

Our music department is excited to request funds for the items in this Donors Choose Project. We have thriving band, orchestra, and choir ensembles full of students who are passionate about learning music and performing in their community.

Many of the students who participate in our music program come from homes that struggle to afford resources the students need in our music ensembles.

The rosin, tuner pickups, strings, and reeds are all what we consider "consumable" resources in our band and orchestra classes, meaning the items are expected to only last a certain amount of time.

It is our hope that this grant will allow our department music staff to help students in need by providing consumables as needed.
