How big were your dreams in elementary school? Our students have mighty big dreams and work hard. We are requesting the materials to paint four big murals that express our excitement about learning and to help improve the environment of our school. And, we want these murals to be as big as our dream.
Our students are eager minded second and third graders who attend art class every week.
We are located in the poor delta region of Arkansas and deserve the best materials that will let our imaginations soar. Our school's art budget does not cover all the materials needed for the 400 students on our campus. This mural project will require some financial assistance to complete and we need your help.
I've asked for two "Paint It Yourself Classroom Mural Canvas Rolls" on acrylic primed canvas (32" X 63" each). These projects come with instructions to teach young people about the forest and ocean. Each mural will depict these irreplaceable resources. I've also requested another large canvas roll to create two more murals that relate to education and school life. As you can see, these projects will be very special and become an important treasure of our school for year. We will also need 6 sets of paint brushes and a set of 6 multicolored tempera paint (one pint each) to help complete these projects.
Your gift will impact over 400 elementary school students who deserve a great education.
Together we can make a huge difference in their lives and community. Thank you for supporting art education and helping to inspire our students to dream "big"! This project will develop skill that they will use the rest of their lives.
