My Students

My students are a unique blend of personalities and abilities. The thing that makes them special is their care for each other. There are many times when I am trying to make it around to help students that they take it upon themselves to help those around them. It fosters a healthy environment to learn and it helps them be productive members of society.

My Project

I have students come to my class just to get snacks throughout the day. I will use these snacks as incentives for my students to not only come to school, but do well. There are a number of times that students tell me they are hungry, usually right before lunch, and I think that a small snack to hold them over would be the perfect thing for them to look forward to coming to school and staying the whole day. If students complete their assignments, I also like to reward them with a small treat so they understand working during class has it's benefits.
