My Students

I work in West Philadelphia where the families have very limited resources to help support their children's literacy needs. After a year of not being in the building, my kids are so excited to jump back into learning but need some basic resources.

These kids need the essentials.

These students need everything from folders to pencils. Setting up a classroom is a lot of work, but we can’t wait to get the ball rolling!

The students I teach are excited to learn and happy to be a part of our school community. However, materials and supplies are almost non-existent and need to be purchased by the teachers. Students here love to read and need all the support they can get.

My Project

Help us eat healthy snacks when my students get to school or when we need some motivation for learning. Sometimes our children don't always get to school on time and come to school with empty stomachs and are sluggish when they sit down to do their work and begin academic instruction. Also, kids love snacks for inspiration and these treats will be a great way to inspire and motivate.

With your help, these treats and healthy goodies will be the perfect incentive to support our classroom learning.
