My wonderfully clever students attend a Title I school. Over 90% of the students who attend my school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. That means 9 out of 10 children in my school live below the poverty line.
These brilliant students have challenges at home and it is my goal to help them have the most opportunities possible at school.
In my classroom, we work hard and we play hard. We learn and we grow. We face challenges head-on and we tell math problems that "we're not scared!"
My Project
Multiplication is the major work of third grade. In order to be successful in memorizing multiplication facts students need to practice in a variety of ways. One way that is especially helpful is practicing flashcards.
Please help get a set of multiplication flash cards into the hands of all of my students.
I am also asking for a couple of sets of multiplication card games, drawstring bags for them to keep their flashcards in, and dry erase markers so they can practice multiplication facts on white boards.
My students are capable of being multiplication masters, they just need some supplies to help them along the way.
