The aquarium is a huge hit with my kiddos and i have since bought one more and my district provided me with another. It really helps to redirect them and calm them when they are overstimulated or dysregulated. The bean bags give them a space to relax and regroup when they need to. The bean bags are very big also which helps them to sink into. My students are utilizing the calming space so much more now that we have all of these items. We are having less meltdowns and more calm times where they can take a break and get themselves together. It has also improved their academics because they are better able to focus after they regulate themselves. I could not have accomplished all of this without your help. Your support has sparked curiosity, creativity, and engagement in my students. These new resources have transformed our science and engineering lessons, turning abstract concepts into hands-on discoveries that my students can see, touch, and understand.\r\n\r\nWe began using the Snap Circuits kits as part of our unit on programming. The working models had us lighting up bulbs, powering fans, and completing circuits using the directions in the kits. We designed a circuit that could both flash a light and produce sound. Watching them ask, imagine, plan, create, test, and improve their circuits was incredibly rewarding. One group of students figured out how to add a switch to their circuit so they could control the light—something they hadn't been explicitly taught yet. This scaffolds right into the concepts of binary programming, and expands into block programming later in the school year. Students started sharing ideas with other groups immediately.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made a lasting impact on my students' learning experience. You've opened doors to exploration, discovery, and confidence-building. My students now see themselves as young engineers and inventors, and that spark of curiosity you helped ignite will continue to grow. On behalf of my students and myself, thank you for believing in their potential and for supporting our classroom's journey toward hands-on, inquiry-based learning. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and excited to share all that we continue to build—both in circuits and in curiosity—thanks to you.","fullyFundedDate":1758854742658,"projectUrl":"project/snap-circuits-spark-new-learning/9683169/","projectTitle":"Snap Circuits Spark New Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bales","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3962925_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1475254963122","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3962925"},{"teacherId":4635116,"projectId":9035534,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to our first-grade classroom! These baskets have made such a positive difference in how we keep our learning space neat and accessible for the children. Having well-organized materials helps the little ones find what they need quickly and encourages independence during their activities.\r\n\r\nWe especially appreciate how sturdy and durable these woven baskets are compared to the old ones. The previous plastic bins would often break or wear out quickly, which made it challenging to keep things tidy. Now, with these new baskets, we feel confident that our classroom materials are safe and well cared for. It truly enhances the overall learning environment and makes clean-up time easier for both teachers and students.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting our classroom in this meaningful way.
