My Students

At my school, we are in need of materials to support students who were most negatively impacted by Covid-19: Our English Language Learners.

These materials will give us tools to individualize instruction.

All students come with different needs. Our English Learners are tasked with learning the curriculum and English at the same time. With these flashcards and other materials a teacher can easily pull aside English learners and work on basic vocabulary to accelerate learning.

This is a vital piece of differentiation, an expectation of all teachers.

My Project

The flash cards that I have selected will help my students, colleagues and me to have resources to select from to help our multilingual learners. These materials could be used in small groups, learning centers or as resources for differentiation.

Our English learners are tested on their learning each year.

We will accelerate growth with games, reading intervention tools and flash cards!

Differentiation is possible when teachers have resources at their fingertips.

These flash cards will be available to all teachers, especially when we discuss specific needs of individual children. This is a key component of individualized instruction.

These materials can be used in small groups, learning centers or for interventionists who need tools for language development.
