My Project

I have a before school Multilingual Reading Club. In our Reading Club, students practice their English reading skills by reading on level books and reading stories online. There is an audio feature for some stories.

My students will use the headphones to listen to stories, text to speech questions and to also interact with text online.

It helps to build fluency skills including proper phrasing and expression. It helps students improve sight word recognition. It helps build comprehension. It allows students to hear the tone and pace of a skillful reader.
