My Project

I want to expose and teach my students more about racial and multicultural people and events. There is no better way to do this than through literature and art! I always try to borrow books to read about these topics, but sometimes it's hard to get a variety of books at one time. These items will give my students a variety of racially diverse biographies, picture books about different cultures, and books on how differently we can feel in general about our world.

Exposure to racially and culturally diverse people will help my students become better citizens!

Not only will they get to learn about other people and events as they read on a new rug, but they will also gain life skills to work and function in a culturally diverse world.
