Students will use donated materials to build and represent a Native American culture group through a 3D representation. They will model the environment, resources available, housing, and everyday activities in this museum like diorama. This helps the students to better understand what daily Native American life was like. Donated materials will build a stronger and more interactive experience for student learning. The tri-fold boards will act as the museum walls, and will be plastered with researched information about each group's specific Native American cultural group. An example of groups students get to choose from are: Eastern Woodlands, Plains Indians, Southwest Indians, North Pacific Coast, Arctic, etc. The students will then use their museum to display and teach others about the diverse subcultures of Native Americans. Other students within our school will get to tour our displayed museums. Each student will get to dress the part, and interact with their peers for a very engaging learning experience.
