Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students did a months long Project Based Learning project on getting a class pet. Students had to research the benefits and responsibilities that come with having a classroom pet. Our class finally decided to get a bunny and were gifted one by our faculty. Mufasa is a grown male bunny, who loves to be in class and socialize with the students. The kids are learning how to care for him and he adds such a positive accent to our classroom.

Students are looking to provide Mufasa with a new home and bunny puzzles to help him adjust to our class.
