This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
When there is a printer in the classroom, students are able to take time away from screens and focus on the work they are doing with their peers and meaningfully engage with collaborative tasks!
A printer in the classroom allows students to have access to things they need such as paper copies of research articles, class readings, resources to create posters, science notebooks, word walls, worksheets, task cards, and other classroom activities - all directly to them.
A printer in science classroom will help increase access to materials for all of my students. Being able to readily print materials in class allows students more opportunities to focus on their learning. Every student learns differently and need various ways to access curriculum.
