Help me give my students books that they love to read and enjoy!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Rojas's classroom raised $545
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For this project I really want to focus on the love of reading that my group of stuentds have this year. I am very excited because the new group of students that I have are showing so much interest in reading this year.
I want to create reading groups that will be like mini book clubs.
I want the students to read books that interest them and then share with their reading groups/mini book clubs what they are reading. These will be leveled reading groups that are geared towards the individual student's reading level and needs. I want to develop an outline that they can use to write about the books they read. This will build on reading skills as well as writing skills.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
