Ms. Tammy's Tutoring Time

Help me give my students a chance for optimal tutoring by giving me the resources and tools to assist them virtually. These tools will allow me to assist my students with preparing for college assessments.

My Students

The students I work with a diverse population who come from a Title 1 school in an urban city. These students have multiple barriers that at times prevent them from becoming successful. They have a desire to succeed in life but always need the extra support I try to provide them.

Striving to fill the gaps in their learning, they desire to soak up any extra help they can get from their teachers.

I do my best to provide that extra support in a tutoring setting. They don't always know what they don't know. All they know is they want to go to college one day and be able to provide for their families who are doing what they can in troubling times.

My Project

My students haven't had a chance to receive proper tutoring in the past six months to prepare them for their college assessments. I want to be able to provide a quality tutoring session while we are in distance learning from home. These valuable tools will be able to mirror what I could provide within a classroom.

Extra support through tutoring is the only way the students I serve will get the small group setting they deserve to be successful getting to their final destination: college.

Throughout my entire career, tutoring is my favorite time of the day because I get to help students more one on one that students crave.
