My Students

Our school is an IB World school that helps provide differentiated learning in all subject areas! I have an amazing 1st grade class of 23 students. Each day they strive to become more knowledgeable by completing the day to day activities in our classroom. In our classroom, we do a variety of activities that involve hands-on and technology based learning. They are a very energetic and fun loving group of kids who enjoy learning during their stations, especially while using manipulatives that will help support their learning!

My Project

My inspiration for this is based on students needs for different seating options besides the standard table and chairs that are found in the classroom we currently have. We have already moved away from the tables, but now I would like different options of seating for the students to choose! My hope is that providing these optionS, like wobble chairs and stools, will allow them to learn more comfortably and focus on their learning!

Some children need a space of their own and these seats will help them to have a more comfortable learning environment so they are able to do their best job each day in the classroom.

The seating choices I have selected will be used daily by all of my students. They will be responsible for choosing what works best for them to help them become learners in the classroom. I cannot wait to see them be successful with their new seating options!
