My Project

My classroom will be a collaborative and loving place for students to learn. Next school year I will have my own classroom for the first time and want to ensure that my students have every resource necessary to succeed. Students will use paperclips, colored paper, index cards, sticky notes, and many more resources to create projects and engage in mathematic discovery. My students will use paper clips to create a model of the unit circle. They will use rubber bands to explore the movement of radical functions. I will be using index cards and sticky notes to encourage classroom engagement and to monitor student learning throughout my lessons.

My students will be working in collaboration with one another to explore the beauty of mathematics.

They will work to make connections between their learning and the world around them. Students will become problem solvers as they grow in their mathematical abilities.
