My Students

Hello! I am a first year teacher with a class of 19 curious and creative students.

With the new year around the corner, our classroom needs a few items to stay engaged and focused to be successful all the way through May.

I have a wonderful group of children with different types of learning styles, interests, diverse cultures, and unique habits. Each of them respond to different techniques and ways of presenting curriculums which would be fulfilled through my project!

My Project

Engaged students are more likely to perform well on standardized tests and are less likely to drop out of school. The conditions that lead to student engagement contribute to a safe, positive, and creative school climate and culture.

Student engagement = SUCCESS!

The individual whiteboards will give students the opportunity to participate and share ideas and answers during whole group learning time. The Bouncy Bands will help my active students who struggle to stay focused and engaged during independent work time.

The Stand Up desk will be a resource for students who find sitting in their desk chair distracting and uncomfortable to be successful.
