Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My amazing second grade students had a most unusual start two years ago to their KINDERGARTEN school career by engaging in distance learning. They continue to grow by leaps and bounds both academically and socially. Returning to the physical school building allows students to work collaboratively and build relationships with others outside of their homes.

In our class, students cooperate to complete assignments, engage in hands-on activities, build their skills with paper and pencil tasks, create visual and performing arts projects, as well as continue to develop their technological skills.

The expo markers and sheet protectors, for example, allow students to practice writing words and sounds, and easily erase when necessary. Your donations will help them engage in these learning experiences that are vital to their physical and educational development.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
