Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My K-2nd grade students are passionate about learning. They are energetic, enthusiastic, and excited about school! They are always striving to move beyond my expectations!

My expectations are high!

I am building my students to be leaders. Leaders who will be able to compete in the 21st Century. My students are innocent and awesome. They really are an eager and promising group!

My Project

As an RTI2 Interventionist who provides intervention to kindergarteners through 5th grade on a daily basis, it is pertinent for me to use a reliable laptop to progress monitor and test students effectively.

This HP laptop will be geared solely for intervention instructional and testing purposes.

With the use of this computer, my intervention students will be able to receive intervention in reading and math skills and also see the progress they are making.

The computer I am using, at this time during the pandemic, is unreliable and loses my students' data frequently. It's hard enough to test my intervention students virtually, but to lose their data and have to start over is taunting. It’s very important that my students' RTI2 data is accurate and timely. With this computer, my students will be offered the opportunity to successfully test.
