This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our English I students will learn how to read and annotate a novel to better prepare them for college. Students tend to be more engaged when they have their own copy of an assigned book. What better way to do this than provide them with a copy of his/her own!

Students always have the option to purchase their own copy of the novel, but not all of our students can afford this luxury.

My students are ever curious and love to discuss literature at a deeper level which make my English teacher heart sing!
