Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I believe that being able to enjoy reading will make a life long learner. Not only will we be reading engaging texts as a class, I will also have books available for the students to check out. I want them to find books they are interested in to increase their consumption of information. With these bookshelves I will have a beautiful place to store their classroom library.
This will be our first year in a brand new high school, so we are building everything fresh.
Our students like so many others notice when thought and effort has been put into a project or a lesson. By giving them these wonderful shelves, I hope they will see the importance we place on choosing to read.
