Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is a prek inclusion classroom! We are in need of math, literacy, and sensory manipulatives to enhance our learning. My students LOVE hands on materials, especially my students with IEPs. Hands on materials, especially literacy and math ones, help my students understand concepts and get them excited about learning. The literacy and math manipulatives will help my students with letter recognition, counting, patterning, and many other skills, including fine motor and social skills. The sensory materials such as the bean bag chair will be a great addition to my cozy corner to help my students learn wo regulate their often times big emotions!

Having exciting and different materials to learn with will get my students ready to learn in what is their first ever school experience!

My goal is to make every student who comes to my classroom excited about school and learning!
