My Project

To ensure students are prepared and have all required supplies, I have established a list of items & resources that will benefit them. Each item will contribute to the success of learning and modeling organizational skills in my classroom. These resources will be utilized by my students as they encounter routine instruction, writing prompts, note-taking, safe keeping of graded work, and interactive activities.

All resources were selected with the sole purpose of providing a structural classroom setting that makes all supplies accessible to every student despite their economic status.

The following items will be utilized solely by students in the way expressed below:

Notebooks, line paper, folders, 3-ring binders, page dividers and protectors will be distributed to all students for daily journal writing, quizzes, and note-taking for both english and history. Students will be expected to organize their work using folders, binders, and dividers. All books and reading material will be stored in book bins, storage containers, and drawers with other supplies (ex: pencils, highlighters, erasers, etc). Trays will be used for students to turn in assignments. Chipboard holders will be used during small group activities as students log valid information in charts. Skin tone paper will be used for a project that embraces diversity and equality amongst race. Students will select the paper that resonated with their ethnicity and design a headshot of themselves. The Hd printer will be used to print student writing assignments. Lastly, Lysol spray and wipes will be used as needed to maintain a sanitary and clean classroom.
