Mrs Haar ASD Sensory Bins

My Project

Sensory bins are a huge step in helping students and children with Autism. These sensory bins can help my students with Autism overcome different textures and feelings. Often times, students with Autism have a hard time feeling different textures. Every day, my students spend 30 minutes playing with different sensory items. This will help them with textures as well as teach them how to play independently while helping with their fine motor skills. Digging, pouring, stirring, and scooping can strengthen the student's hand muscles and improve their fine motor skills.
